UK Benefits Finder gives general information about UK benefits. It is not financial, legal or welfare rights advice, and it doesn't take account of everything about your situation. Amounts are estimates. Whether you get a benefit, and how much, is decided only by the organisation that runs it.

Check before you act

Always check the official page (we link to it) before making a decision, such as leaving a job, moving home or giving up another benefit. Moving from some benefits to Universal Credit can't be reversed. If in doubt, ask Citizens Advice or another free advice service first.

Accuracy

We take care to copy figures from official sources and update them when rates change, but we can't promise everything is complete or up to date. We aren't responsible for any loss from relying on this website.

Independence

This website isn't connected to any government department. It's free to use, and claiming benefits is always free.
